CONCEPT
Born on September 1st 2023, in Milan, Genres is driven by a strong passion for synergy and the interaction of diverse contexts. For this reason, it can be sophisticated, walk with the shirt hanging out of the pants, and have a far-from-rosy femininity. The studio’s goal is to amplify the volume of authenticity by giving birth to projects that speak with the voices of their Thinkers. Combining their unique characteristics, individuals can create new forms of expression and identity, new genres.
BACKGROUND

My story begins with a strong interest in publishing and art in my grandma’s garden, exchanging Architectural Digest issues and Arcimboldo's books back and forth. Following in time, I didn’t know, I could turn those passions into a job, and it was only at 16, when I escaped to Bristol that I sensed the power to make my own decisions. I started wearing torn stockings, picked sociology instead of mathematics, and became 21-year-old Lucy to get my first tattoo done. At 20, I studied in Florence at IED, creating a full-marks thesis project for the Uffizi Galleries. A few days after the degree, I was headed to Milan to work for Hearst Media Company, in magazines such as Elle, Marie-Claire, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and the interior design e-commerce Westwing. A few more experiences and survived viruses later, Genres Studio arrives, and splendid collaborations are born in interior, fashion, beauty, art, architecture, food and beverage.

I’m the kind of person who has always looked for the best version of herself with fierce determination, even if kindness, is the key in every path I tread. Underneath it all, I'm an incurable nostalgic, firmly rooted in the present, ever-mindful of the importance of progress. I feel lucky and grateful to have been able to choose a job I love. A handful of things I cherish include the cinema, the smell of paper, Peter Lindbergh editorials, sketching tattoos, singing when no one else is listening, and combat disciplines.

Allows a rapid workflow avoiding interruptions or delays; the more details will be grouped, the greater the precision of the processing.

The customer receives the project proposal including work elements, timeline and costs.
The estimate can be revised and reformulated according to the customer’s needs, once signed it will be considered final.
